The OBRHS had a booth at Florida's Green Living Music & Arts Festival called EFest. The festival, held at the polo grounds in Sarasota County during November 2008 was attended by more than 25,000 people. Our booth was created by several Society members and was designed to reflect the habitat along the Braden River and its wild inhabitants. Thanks to critters loaned by Frank Gamsky and Kathy Coughlin and Kathy's creativity, the booth was a great success. Many visitors stopped to see the critters and inquire about the Society and our activities. We handed out literature on the Society and also "raffled" a golf package for four donated by University Park Country Club and a freshwater fishing trip with local guide Captain "Doc" Lee.
