OBRHS made new friends and attracted interest in the Society at EFest in Sarasota. A golf package and a freshwater fishing trip were won by persons who visited the booth.
Join OBRHS January 16 at King Ranch Manatee, 4630 60th St. E., for the next Braden River cleanup. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the cleanup runs from 9:00 - 12:00. Some kayaks and canoes will be available but please bring your own if you have one

OBRHS celebrated Super Saturday at Jiggs Landing March 14, 2009. The folks who attended participated in geocaching and kayak races, had their face painted, made gyotaku t-shirts, listened to live music, and ate burgers, polish sausage, sticky buns, and snow cones.
